Hey Riders, Listen up and look alive, this is how proud Riders R.I.D.E.! It’s time to announce this WEEK’S PBIS R.I.D.E. Winners! The following students are being acknowledged for demonstrating positive behavior in the area of Respect, Integrity, Duty and/or Excellence. For the week of May 13th-17th of 2024 PBIS winners, just a reminder 20 students per week will be chosen, and announced daily. Senior! The list of seniors being recognized at the Senior Honors Assembly is posted in the Activities/Athletics Office and also outside the Counseling Office and will be updated daily. Please check the list to ensure that your name is spelled correctly. See Mrs. Jurging with any questions.
Teachers teachers teachers, this is the final week to order from Teddy's Cafe. This week our drink selections are fresh lemonade and/ or sweet tea. Order forms are in your mailboxes!
Attention Riders! In your class Google Classroom will be a student PBIS survey. The first ten students in each grade to fill out will win a prize! If you aren’t one of the first ten…don’t worry! Your name will still be entered in a raffle to win another prize. Once again, that form is in your graduating class Google Classroom and is due May 14!
Are you looking for a job this summer? Maintenance is looking for reliable students to help them with summer cleaning and they need all of the help they can get! The hours are 6:30 am to 3:00 pm with a 1/2 hour lunch, however maintenance is willing to adjust hours if students do not want the full day. They pay $13 per hour and it will start May 27th. Students can call Heather Romanski at 330-676-8591 or see Nicole Harris if they are interested.

Breaking news! Sophomore Kaidyn Harris shattered the school record in long jump last week at the Tallmadge Invitational! Kaidyn jumped 17 feet, 7 inches to crush the previous record of 17 feet set in 2001. Congratulations Kaidyn, we are so proud of you!!!

Thursday, May 2nd, TRHS is hosting another Unified Sports event, this time track and field. Classes are welcome to come out to the Roosevelt Stadium and cheer on all athletes from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Go RIDERS!!
Friday, May 3rd is E3 Signing Day! The whole school will come together to celebrate the Class of 2024 and their commitment to employment, enlistment, and enrollment. Come in Roosevelt colors/spirit wear and bring your school spirit. This will be the LAST pep assembly for the Class of 2024 so let’s make it festive and memorable!
Attention current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders: The RHS Boys and Girls Cross Country program will have an informational meeting on Tuesday, April 30th at 6 PM in the Roosevelt Cafeteria for prospective athletes and their parents. Anyone interested in participating next Fall should plan on attending. No prior experience is necessary! Come to meet the coaching staff, and to get information about Summer training opportunities and the upcoming Fall schedule.

The reviews are in! This year’s One Acts are a hit! There are only two more chances to see these short plays written and directed by students tonight and tomorrow. There is limited seating so get your tickets today during lunch or after school and buy a delicious baked good to support the Drama Guild.
